EVENTS
We have just had our Art Week. Everyone has been involved. We have had the support and inspiration of an Artist in Residence, Carol Havard. All the classes have worked with her on a wide variety of themes and using lots of techniques from clay pots and tiles, textiles, kinetic sculpture to batik wall hangings. There has been an exhibition of children’s work to enjoy all week in our Infant Hall and it has been opened to parents, carers, visitors and friends as well as being a valuable gallery experience for all the children to enjoy. Some children have been out to a local art gallery, the Towner, Eastbourne. Some have been on walks to the park to draw, sketch and collect natural objects to enhance their work.
Overall it has been an exciting, rewarding and stimulating week!
